I didn't go out with friends, I didn't paint my face green...or drink green drinks.....or go to any sort of overly social anything. Why not? I stayed home, usually curled in a ball, due to a doctor's appointment today. About this time last year I had some serious OB/GYN issues and am still dealing with them. First it was just some abnormal cells. Then it was a procedure to make sure the cells hadn't changed. They didn't....at all. Since they didn't clear up on their own another procedure was needed. Today, the doctor used an electrified circle of wire to cut the cells off my cervix. Hopefully, this got all the abnormal ones. If not the next step is pre-cancer treatments....which I'm really hoping against.
On a side note, it is extremely unnerving to not be able to feel anything (they numbed me with lidacaine (sp?) and to see the machine that is being used start smoking.
This is not the type of electrical play I enjoy.

I hope you are feeling better soon!
As for St. Pat's Day, I played some badminton, then spent entirely too long playing "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" on the Wii...
I did make it to 3rd St. for Happy hour. Left by 7, though! Granted, I'd already partied it up Sat night at Torry and Julia's house.
Sorry for the less than fun electro-foo, but thank you for taking care of your health and staying on top of it. Today I had to convince a friend to schedule her first ever mammogram (3 years overdue). As I told her, you're worth having around, and I'm proud of you for doing something scary/not fun now so that later...well, so that there IS a later! ;) Hugest hugs!
*hugs to mah boys* Thank you guys. The aftermath of the doctor's appointment is painful, but infinitely better than cancer. Think happy healing thoughts for me that this got all the ick taken care of.
hugs to you, baby! i stayed in, too. i have an awful awful cold that left me bed ridden yesterday. i hope you feel better soon!
*hugs da Emi* Hope you feel better too, pretty girl!
