On my nightstand

I just counted. I have four books that are in the "I'm currently reading this" rotation. A handful of short stories that I have to read for school. And three new books/study aids that I'm excited to get a start on. Not to mention the myriads of books I want to read.

I used to get overwhelmed, back in jr. high and high school, when I was expected to read a novel outside of what I was being taught in class. I never did that well. Multitasking just wasn't my thing.

I just can't imagine a reading world where I didn't have this many options.
