Every Easter morning I was attacked.
One Easter, around 9 or 10 years old, we "lost" an egg my father had hidden. For future referrence...never hide and egg in the mouth of a mounted deer if it is several feet above eye level.
After that, hiding Easter eggs was out. Early morning ambushes by a mom, armed with SillyString, were in. As if finding the ears missing from our chocolate bunnies wasn't enough; Lady could not be stopped. Closed doors only gave a split second's notice. Jake learned to hide his own stash of SillyString and to strike back. I almost always surrendered.
I have, however, never recovered from the lack of ears on my chocolate bunnies. Never. I have never had a chocolate bunny with ears.
Being a couple states away from Lady, I went shopping for my own Easter chocolate. I found these...
