Every once in a while something happens that is totally unexpected. After a rather hellish week, Friday redeemed my faith...in a rather strange way. For all my complaints about the snowbirds, sometimes they are just what is needed.
One of my coworkers belongs to the Eagles. He sponsored the group of us in for the Friday night fish fry. Yummy food, cheap drinks, all around merriment, and some dancing with a couple of gents who reminded me of my grandpa were just what was needed.
